Welcome to Reyah International's Education Project in Ghana! This initiative is designed to improve education in Ghana by engaging passionate volunteers to teach in both governmental and non-governmental schools across various communities. As a volunteer, you will have the unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of school children by teaching essential subjects and supporting various educational needs. Whether you are teaching English, Mathematics, Science, or raising awareness about HIV/AIDS, your contributions will be invaluable in shaping the future of these young learners. Role of Volunteer

As a volunteer interested in teaching in Ghana, you will work for 8 hours a day and 32 hours a week. Subject areas include English, Math, and Science etc.  Volunteers who are fluent in English can also assist in organizing reading Clinics in the Communities in which Reyah operates

· Teach English, Math, Science and other subjects.

· support teaching and learning processes in the classroom

· Connect and Interact with the students and teachers.  

· Participate in co-curriculum and extra-curriculum activities

Skills/Qualification Needed

Some previous teaching experience would be useful.  Moreover there are no specific qualifications required to undertake this project. The volunteer must be fluent in English and must have completed Senior High school. A better understanding of Ghanaian culture and language can immensely enhance the experience for you and your students. Patience, enthusiasm, punctuality and discipline are such attitudes expected of Volunteers interested in undertaking this project.
